Company Overview
Allot offers the industry's broadest range of bandwidth management solutions with a combination of hardware/software products that suit any network configuration. The NetEnforcer® family of LAN appliances offer best-of-class traffic shaping technology for QoS/SLA enforcement, real-time IP monitoring, IP accounting and load balancing. The NetReality® family of WAN appliances, acquired from NetReality® in September 2002, offers award-winning technology for QoS/SLA enforcement, real-time, centralized, IP monitoring and IP accounting reporting.
In enterprise networks, Allot's solutions allow network managers to enable quality of service (QoS) by linking business policies to specific network actions that improve and control users' productivity and satisfaction as well as contain networking costs.
In carrier and IP service provider networks, Allot's QoS/SLA enforcement solutions enable service providers to maximize ROI by managing over-subscription, throttling P2P traffic on upstream and downstream links and delivering tiered services or classes of service.
Allot Communications optimizes your WAN with Layer-7 traffic management and empowers networks for business and links business policies to specific network actions that improve application and network performance.

Product Overview
NetEnforcer®
The NetEnforcer® family of bandwidth management LAN appliances offers best-of-class traffic shaping technology for QoS/SLA enforcement and real-time traffic monitoring on carrier (AC-1000 Series), service provider and enterprise networks. Individual models are optimized to support a variety of bandwidths and users.
NetEnforcer's traffic-shaping is complemented and enhanced by additional software modules including NetAccountant (IP accounting), CacheEnforcer® (traffic redirection) and NetBalancer® (server load-balancing).

Carrier-Grade Service Control and QoS / SLA Enforcement
• Manage bandwidth at Gigabit speeds
• Enforce service level agreements
• Classify, monitor and control P2P traffic
• Rapidly provision new subscribers
Carriers, service providers (xSPs) and data centers are faced with large infrastructure costs and decreasing margins. Profitability hinges on the ability to control spiraling network costs and to increase revenue through new lucrative services. These services may include controlling peer-to-peer (P2P) traffic, and providing tiered (differentiated) services for home and SOHO users and classes of service for business users. Large enterprises with Gigabit backbones seek to ensure acceptable performance for business- and time-critical applications such as CRM, ERP and VoIP. |
Policy-Powered Networking
Allot Communications NetEnforcer® AC-1000 Series policy enforcement devices offer carriers, service providers and enterprises a complete suite of bandwidth management tools for quality of service (QoS); class-of-service enforcement and monitoring; and application performance. Placed on the network edge between the router and the switch, the NetEnforcer lets network managers immediately identify and limit excessive bandwidth consumers and put "recovered" bandwidth to better business use.
Service Providers

Traffic Management for Service Providers
• Control P2P and bandwidth abuse • Increase revenue from existing infrastructure • Enforce service level agreements • Classify Layer-7 traffic
Service providers (xSPs) made large investments in infrastructure only to have the price of bandwidth become commoditized. Your profitability hinges on your ability to increase revenue from existing resources through over-subscribing network bandwidth and offering new lucrative services. These services may include throttling P2P traffic and providing tiered (differentiated) services such as "gold", "silver", or "bronze", and classes of service that deliver guaranteed bandwidth to support specific business-critical applications such as VoIP, Oracle, and Citrix. |

Enterprise WAN Traffic Management
• Optimize your WAN infrastructure
• Maximize business-critical application performance
• Monitor network activity
• Implement application- and IP-based accounting
The exponential growth in the use of the Internet, combined with increased reliance on IP-based networks (private, public or VPN), for mission-critical and time-sensitive traffic, has resulted in unprecedented demands on existing communication systems. In order to achieve an acceptable quality of service (QoS) and maximize the performance of business-critical applications, network managers need to allocate network resources based on business priorities. |
