Presales Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to support sales engagements by designing, presenting, and demonstrating cybersecurity solutions to customers. The role involves working closely with account managers, vendors, partners, and technical teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.

The role is available across various cybersecurity domains such as endpoint security, network security, SIEM, observability, threat detection, data protection, and security operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, customer engagement skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure and scalable architectures.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Presales & Solution Design

  • Engage partner/customers to understand technical, operational, and business requirements.
  • Design and propose cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer environments and security objectives.
  • Provide solution architecture, sizing, BOM preparation, and implementation considerations.
  • Conduct product presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POC).
  • Support RFI/RFP/RFQ responses and technical proposal preparation.
  • Recommend best practices for security architecture, deployment, integration, and operations.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Work closely with sales/account managers to drive technical discussions and solution positioning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers during pre-sales engagements.
  • Assist in technical qualification and discovery sessions.
  • Provide technical consultancy during customer meetings and project discussions.
  • Support commercial discussions by aligning technical scope with customer requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience in cybersecurity presales, implementation, SOC, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Exposure to enterprise or managed security environments.
  • Experience conducting product demos, POCs, or technical workshops.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security architecture and compliance requirements.

 

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as:
    • EDR/XDR
    • SIEM
    • Firewalls
    • IAM/PAM
    • DLP
    • Cloud Security
    • Network Monitoring & Observability
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, networking, and cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, Active Directory, and virtualization.
  • Experience with log analysis, incident detection, or SOC operations is advantageous.

 

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements.

Product Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for establishing strategic relationships with product Principal while meeting assigned quota and achieving revenue targets
  • Devise the Go-To-Market strategy for distributor channels, and identify opportunities to expand product adoption and revenue
  • Collaborate with Channel Account Managers to drive product training and sales enablement through channel partners
  • Drive internal and external channel enablement and create mindshare by conducting product updates, promotions, events, and training
  • Work with product Principal to plan and execute quarterly or half-yearly events targeting end customers or partners to drive lead generation
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to devise marketing strategies or incentive programs for market outreach

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field. Applicants without this educational qualification may still apply but they must have at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales working on cybersecurity products
  • Familiar with Security products
  • Strong leadership attributes and can demonstrate exceptional relationship   management skills
  • Prior experience working in distributor environment is preferred

Presales Consultant (Tenable)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become a Vulnerability and Risk Management SME and advisor
  • Meet with prospective clients to discover what their biggest security challenges and highest priority business drivers
  • Design, set up, and execute PoC/PoV projects to validate solutions and meet technical success criteria.
  • Design customized, scalable of Vulnerability Management solutions and provide expert best-practice guidance.
  • Working with cross-functional team on integration.
  • Develop detailed technical responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs).
  • Support sales to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers/partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and webinars to educate customers/partners on assigned cybersecurity products / or network performance solutions.
  • Assist in onboarding new partners with solution knowledge and tools.
  • Partner with vendors and technology partners to stay updated on product developments and certifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and deploying Vulnerability Management solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with interconnected, heterogeneous systems
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and technologies
  • Strong presentation skills for on-site, virtual, and large-audience events.
  • Previous experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, or similar roles, ideally within software or cybersecurity
  • Relevant industry certifications for Vulnerability Management solutions are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts
  • Demonstrable experience with modern computing infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, GCP etc is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., PCI, FISMA, SOX)

Store Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and perform checking of incoming shipment
  • Perform pick and pack for outgoing shipments
  • Perform monthly physical stock take
  • Liaise with different stakeholders (internal / external) pertaining to stock received/releasing into/from store
  • Perform some physical tasks like carrying heavy goods
  • Compliance to company SOP and maintain storage area as organized and safe
  • Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Secondary education/ N-Level
  • Relevant warehouse/store experience
  • Physically fit to lift load of 15kg ~ 25kg
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Preferred Bilingual in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
  • Responsible and ability to work independently
  • Able to commence work at a short notice or immediate
